This show includes the Hand-Carved Alphabet, drawn, carved and printed by Lauren Emeritz and the book, a hard-bound accordion book of the printed Hand-Carved Alphabet. Work on the Hand-Carved Alphabet began in April 2013, over time it transitioned from a carving project to a book project. The book was completed in April 2016.
The letters are carved out of Linoblock, Pine, Basswood and Plywood. They were letterpress printed using a Vandercook on Lettra 220 paper, and accordion bound with orange mulberry paper.
The book was published by Abstract Orange in 2016 in an Edition of 20.

Pyramid Atlantic presents Tribal Excursions by artist Korey Richardson. This exhibition is an exploration of a tribal style; influenced by the lowbrow movement, an underground visual art movement that arose in the Los Angeles, California area in the late 1970s. Through painting and print making, Richardson seeks to create dialog that explores Black history, music and art. The ambiguous symbolism is a reflection of his beliefs and ideas toward urban African American culture.
